Who am I?

Driven by my personal experience with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), I'm passionate about leveraging technology to empower the FND Dimensions community. As the IT lead, I'm spearheading a comprehensive modernisation of our digital infrastructure to support our 2,000+ members.

Migrating to a robust Microsoft ecosystem: Leveraging their charitable licensing program, I'm deploying SharePoint, transitioning to Microsoft Teams for enhanced collaboration, and upgrading to Exchange for reliable email communication.

Empowering our volunteers: I'm launching an accessible IT support and training system, incorporating continuous feedback to ensure it effectively meets their evolving needs.

Enhancing user experience: I'm redesigning our digital presence (website, social media) to create a more engaging and informative experience for our community..

I actively support an Essex food bank by leveraging my IT and leadership skills to drive partnership development and fundraising efforts. This includes researching potential investors, attending networking events, and presenting compelling proposals to secure funding. I also apply my organizational and project management skills to optimi ze daily operations and contribute to the ongoing development of fundraising initiatives. I also dedicate time each week to volunteering at the food bank, accepting donations and packing parcels to assist families in need within my local community.

Led and mentored a high-performing digital marketing team, driving successful campaigns across SEO, PPC, email, and social media. Developed and implemented a data-driven digital strategy that directly supported key business objectives. Managed IT budget allocation and provided technical guidance to team members.

Redesigned digital image, and mentored employees with Microsoft 365. Implemented innovative strategies to enhance digital transformation and streamline operations for Kimgel LTD and their clients. Successfully led the team in achieving a 20% increase in client satisfaction and a 15% boost in overall productivity.

Designing strategic plans for a low budget start-up, implementing in the most time efficient and cost effective manner for the company, staff and clients. Ensuring company accounts are handled correctly. Consulting clients, decision making and analysis of business growth.

My job as a designer/programmer include; Designing and developing mobile responsive websites, SQL database design and management, and designing printed products (business cards, flyers, magazines and posters). More recently I have been call upon several times to undertake several companies photography.

To keep the websites running I undergo the tasks of installing and managing web servers and server security.

When managing Public Relations, I am committed to: Strategic consulting, client/consumer psychology, branding strategies, targeted website traffic growth, and online marketing for small to Medium Sized Enterprises.

I was contracted as a consultant systems administrator to outsource IT technicians for a new project (NDA). Outsourcing included installation, configuration, and troubleshooting their systems/network. Once the project was in its 2nd phase, my job was completed.

I was contracted to cover for an IT Support Consultant for 6 weeks to ensure a project that was behind schedule, was delivered on time.

Moving up from Project Manager with 365 TPS - Day to day my job was varied across different sectors of the companies. My main role was to manage all aspects of IT for 365 Technical Plant Services, overseeing new technology and equipment, and scalability to ensure call centre and office operations uptime. In partnership with British Gas, we mostly provided civil engineering services. Recently, we had been installing electric car charging points for companies including National Rail, Tesco, Ikea, B&Q and Tesla.

I was also called upon to work with our partnering firm, British Gas, providing technical support, advice and scalable, affordable solutions.

Employed as Project Manager, but due to unfortunate circumstances within the company at the time, I also shared responsibilities with the head of IT support, I was responsible for ensuring our systems (both local and remote) were available and reliable. I worked closely on upgrading our systems moving the majority of our data to cloud systems. I was mostly motivating, negotiating, and leading my team and our projects reflected that.

I was an IT Consultant for newly formed 365 Energy LTD; I took the lead of outsourcing to organizations situated in the UK, USA, and Indonesia. This allowed a small, newly formed company to design their products, marketing, and branding within a very small budget. This helped to form what later became new and improved products of a larger smart heating brand of Hive.

Gained valuable IT experience while at Belfairs Community College by volunteering as a Computer Technician. My responsibilities included managing and troubleshooting computers, implementing security measures using Group Policy Editor, and collaborating with network administrators. I also led a project to upgrade the music department's IT infrastructure, which involved setting up a secure network, configuring DHCP, and creating user accounts.
